TERMS & ABBREVIATIONS USED AT SEW EXCITING NEEDLEWORKS:

VINTAGE- Patterns dated 1979 and prior to

MODERN – Patterns dated 1980 and after

F/F – Factory Fold (New or Never Used Pattern)

U/C – Uncut/Complete (Pattern is not in Factory Fold yet uncut and complete)

C/C – Cut/Complete (used pattern; cut and all pieces present)

C/I – Cut/Incomplete (pattern has been cut and piece(s) is(are) missing; generally missing piece(s) will be listed

OOP – Out-of-Print  (Pattern); manufacturer still carries in limited quantity and sizes.

Pattern pieces are counted  (if cut)  and examined for tears and flaws and completeness.  A pattern is considered complete if all pieces and instructions are present.   Large tears, alterations, taped pieces or any condition that may make the pattern difficult to work with will be noted in the pattern condition description.  If a pattern is missing a piece, that piece will be identified in the pattern condition description.  When a pattern has been cut, the size it has been cut to will be noted if the pattern originally contained multiple sizes.  Patterns offered here will be described as complete when all pattern pieces and instructions are present; patterns missing any of these items will state such.  (Patterns missing envelopes will state such within the condition of the envelope, listed separately under “Condition”)
