A few months ago, I wrote about Elias Howe, the man attributed with being the inventor of the sewing machine. When I did research on him I stumbled on a site run by Alex Askaroff of Sussex, England. He has a grab bag of information on his site, but if you are interested in or curious about antique sewing machines, he has quite a bit of information. He also has some helpful information on sewing machines as well. It was a fun site to visit as well as interesting and unusual. I highly recommend his site: Sewalot
Currently, I am working on an upcoming sale. Sorting out the computer programming is the issue at the moment; in short, doing the sale with the least amount of hassles for you, the customer. Thus far, glitches are popping up that are quite frustrating, and that just won’t do. But do check back and expect the sale soon.
I am also putting together some pattern comparisons to share with you; patterns that are similar in style, but differ in price. With a little compromise, you may get what you want.
Hello to my friends in Australia and thank you as well.
Happy New Year and Happy Sewing.
